Scaling Up (Rockefeller Habits)
Scaling Up is a growth method by Verne Harnish, the further development of his earlier Rockefeller Habits and published as Rockefeller Habits 2.0. The method revolves around four decisions every growing company has to get right: People, Strategy, Execution, and Cash.
The best-known tools are the One-Page Strategic Plan and the Rockefeller Habits Execution Checklist. Where EOS is deliberately simple, Scaling Up goes deeper and broader, particularly on strategy and on cash, the component that EOS barely addresses.
The price of that depth is time. Verne Harnish himself says it takes two to three years to truly make all the tools and habits part of your company, and then another two to three years to master it. Like EOS, it is a plan and a rhythm, not a system that runs the execution itself.
