How it works
How Boldcaster runs your company
From strategy to KPIs, rhythm, people, and valuation. This is how the operating system works that lets your scale-up run on structure instead of on you.
How Boldcaster runs your company
Boldcaster is the operating system for your scale-up. It takes over the work a good operational manager does, and makes steering your company visible to everyone. Below you can see how that works in practice, from strategy to daily execution.
Your strategy, and it lives
Everything starts with a clear, layered strategy: your core values, your purpose, your sandbox (what you focus on), your unique strength, your promise to customers, and your long-term goal. Beneath that, the priorities up to that goal, and the priorities for the coming twelve months with concrete objectives.
In Boldcaster that strategy sits as a module that everyone can always view. You build it in the way that suits you. Walk through a simple wizard, get support from Bold AI, our AI, or paste a strategy you already have from Word. Boldcaster recognizes it and fills in the canvas for you. And because strategy only comes to life in execution, you do not have to keep polishing it endlessly. You go and do it.
KPIs with a real hierarchy
Everyone talks about KPIs, almost no one really has them. In Boldcaster there is a clear hierarchy to them. First you make your business processes transparent. To those you link result KPIs that show whether a process is running well. And beneath those, the steering KPIs, the behavior that drives those results up.
An example. Your performance marketer owns the marketing process. His result KPI is the number of qualified leads. His steering KPIs are the things he controls himself: how many ads are live, how much content has been posted, how much has been tested. That is how every employee stands in relation to their KPIs, and automatically ends up green, orange, or red if they are at risk of falling behind.
A rhythm that keeps itself up to date
Each quarter you work on your goals, with a traffic-light system that continuously shows where things stand. At the end of every month and every quarter, your entire team reflects: first the employee on their role, KPIs, and contribution, then the manager. You discuss that as a group, so that you build an open, transparent culture in which there is also room for the soft side.
In addition, you conduct structured performance reviews, linked to roles that are explicitly recorded in a job scorecard: not only responsibilities, but also expectations on three levels, from minimum to outstanding. Boldcaster keeps that rhythm, not a layer of managers.
People: A, B, C, and D players on data
Who performs and who does not should not be a gut feeling. Boldcaster maps it out based on data: contribution to the goals, KPIs achieved, behavior shown, Today and the week sprint filled in, and the outcomes of reflections and performance reviews. From that follows whether someone is an A, B, C, or D player.
That is how you build a high-performance culture like the one top-level sport knows: you do not only measure the finishing time, but also the predictive signals underneath. The manager shifts from controlling to coaching: helping A-players grow, helping anyone who is orange, and having the honest conversations at red, with the time and the space to do that well.
Valuation and finance
You want to know what your company is worth and how it is valued. Fill in a few items from your annual accounts, plus your sector and a number of qualitative value drivers, such as how much hangs on you as the entrepreneur and how well your processes stand. You get a substantiated valuation with scores on profitability, cash strength, and exit readiness. You can send your accountant a link that fills it in for you.
If you do this every quarter, you see your value development over time, and visually the journey to your long-term goal. Not only whether you are growing in revenue and profit, but whether your company is actually becoming worth more.
Blueprints and the integrator
Well-known models such as the Value Proposition Canvas or a persona analysis are done in no time in Boldcaster: click on a blueprint, fill it in together digitally, and spar about it with your team. They are saved and come to life instead of ending up on a whiteboard just once.
And because rhythm only works if someone guards it, there is the role of integrator: not the founder, but someone on your team who makes sure that everything agreed actually happens.
Need help? Our tracks
You can get started yourself, or have yourself guided. We have three forms:
The set-up sprint is for those who simply want to get working in the system. One day, tailored, with an extensive intake beforehand, after which we set up the whole app for you.
The strategy sprint is for those who first want to build a sharp, supported strategy element. In about two and a half days we build your strategy and set up the app, after which you continue on your own.
The scale-up track is for those who want to keep growing with rhythm and someone who knows your company. We start with a personal conversation, a valuation, and the audit, followed by two days of strategy and then correcting course strategically every quarter. Your integrator is trained, and with a low product-market fit an innovation sprint runs alongside to raise your fit.
Start with the audit
Whichever track fits, it starts with knowing where you stand. Our audit measures your phase and your product-market fit in a few minutes, so you know what you should set up first. Take the free audit.
